Job Title: Clinical Anatomy Faculty (Full-Time)

Location: Rocky Vista University, Ivins, UT

The primary purpose of this role is to participate in teaching, service, research, and scholarly activities at the RVU-SU campus in Ivins, UT.

Main Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Participate in lectures as assigned in gross anatomy, embryology, histology, and neuroanatomy. Assist in dissection-based gross anatomy labs.
• Student Support: Establish and maintain scheduled office hours for student advising, tutoring, remediation, and consultation.
• Clinical Services: Provide professional and clinical services in assigned clinical settings consistent with training and degree.
• University Service: Serve on academic program and department committees, provide leadership, mentorship, and expertise to students, and participate in community outreach events and with professional organizations or groups.
• Curriculum Development: Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and modification as part of the university's ongoing quality improvement and assessment programs.
• Evaluation and Assessment: Participate in the assessment and evaluation of students and residents, provide feedback, and remedial assistance to ensure RVU students meet faculty and university standards.

Requirements:

• Terminal degree (DO, MD, PhD) from an accredited institution with current Board Certification in appropriate area of specialization if applicable.
• One year of academic experience as a full-time faculty member at a medical school or three years of academic experience as a full-time faculty member in an institution of higher education.
• Demonstrated productivity in clinical or professional service, scholarly activity, medical research, or education.
• Good standing with all regulatory and governmental boards and agencies.

Disclaimer: The salary range mentioned is representative of the minimum to midpoint within RVU's compensation plan, which provides a range from $83,000 to $115,000+ per year depending on experience and faculty rank.
