Seeking a hospital based Medical Technologist to join an amazing team that works hard and currently seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do.

Job Requirements
Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing and analyze proficiency testing samples according to instructions and complete within the allowable time frame
Complete all required

records/documentation

pertaining to patient results
Perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets
Review pending logs (OSR) and result logs; resolve any outstanding workload or communicate to staff relief
Take pertinent corrective action when the patient, quality control, standard, calibration and/or proficiency results are not within appropriate guidelines
Requirements
Associate's Degree/ Bachelors is required
A 4 yr Bachelors Degree in Med technology is preferred
A State of Florida Medical Technologist License is required
Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas: (Generalist highly preferred): Blood bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology
Medical Technologist experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
MUST HAVE recent blood bank experience

• M inimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical or reference lab setting is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.

A State of Florida Medical Technologist License is required.

Generalist license (all areas) is required but we will consider applicants licensed in 3 or more of the following areas:

Blood bank
Serology
Chemistry
Hematology
Microbiology
