    *Job Description
    Our company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. Your responsibilities will primarily include Tenant Improvement projects at the Mayo Clinic.

    Your duties will range from building temporary walls, metal stud framing, drywall patching, overseeing subcontractors, to changing millwork in rooms.

    You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety at our worksites. This includes enforcing safety rules, conducting periodic safety audits, and keeping track of one comprehensive task list.

    Your role will also involve site setup, ensuring the proper equipment is on-site and assisting in the initial review of drawings.

    You will need to follow the project schedule closely, reviewing it daily with on-site subcontractors and confirming their material and labor availability.Hard Skills

    Your work environment will be dynamic and challenging.

    Most of your work will be done at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, with an on-site job trailer provided. You will be involved in multiple tenant improvement projects, with 8-10 different jobs ongoing at any given time. The jobs can range from $30K to $10M in size. The typical work hours are from 5:30am to 1:30pm, with a start time usually between 5am-6am. Overnight shifts are rarely required, and if so, you will not work the next day. You may be expected to work up to two Saturdays a month.
