- Ability to operate pedestal and jib studio cameras for live daily sports programming both in-studio and as needed, on location
- Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and application of camera related skills such as framing, movement, etc. to execute the content strategy for the creative vision
- Work in collaboration with producers and directors to execute overallprogramming strategy
- Willingness and physical ability to train to operate Steadicam
- Assist, as needed, with other areas of studio production: including microphone and IFB placement, counting talent in and out of breaks and SOTs, understand functionality of lighting board, ability to set and change lighting cues
- When trained, temporarily fill in for one of the following positions: GFX Op, A1, A2, AD or TD
- Assist with the general upkeep and operation of associated equipment
- Attend meetings as requested as part of daily programming
- Maintain a professional approach and demeanor at all times; including whileinteracting with crew, talent and guests
- Help create a positive team-oriented atmosphere amongst the crew
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a live studio production in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Overall understanding and knowledge of studio-based productions required
- Ability to think quickly and communicate well required
- Availability to occasionally work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed is required
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously required
- Some experience with studio lighting preferred
- Experience with INEWS or similar newsroom rundown system preferred
- Knowledge of professional and/or college sports is a plus
