Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable General Laborer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is moving crane mats in all weather conditions year-round, ensuring timely loading, unloading, staging, and organization of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience operating equipment, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work safely and efficiently outdoors in varying weather conditions. In addition to crane mat handling, this role supports yard maintenance and shop operations as needed.
Primary Responsibility
- Operate equipment to move crane mats onto and off trailers in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, and cold).
- Safely load, unload, stage, and organize crane mats in the yard.
- Inspect crane mats and related equipment for safe handling.
- Maintain productivity and safety standards while working outdoors year-round.
- Pressure wash equipment and clean crane mats.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools for yard and shop tasks.
- Maintain an organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members on projects as required.
- Assist in the shop as directed.

- Mechanical knowledge is essential for safely operating equipment.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
