    Summary:

    In this role, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing crucial support to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in diagnosing, assessing, and treating students with various communication and swallowing disorders.

    You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with our professionals, aiding in treatment plan development, therapy delivery, and client progress monitoring, all while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.


    Responsibilities:

    Assist in conducting assessments under the supervision of licensed SLPs to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.

    Support the creation of individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client objectives, and SLP guidance.

    Deliver therapeutic interventions as directed by licensed SLPs, spanning speech and language therapy, voice therapy, fluency therapy, and swallowing therapy.

    Employ a variety of tools and methodologies to enhance communication skills, refine speech articulation, and foster language comprehension and expression.

    Collaborate with families, caregivers, and fellow professionals to offer guidance and education on communication disorders.
    Aid in monitoring student progress, documenting treatment outcomes, and relaying findings to licensed SLPs.
    Keep abreast of developments in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development endeavors.
    Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and contribute actively to the overall success of the school environment.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
    Valid and active state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
    Prior experience in an SLPA role or similar capacity is preferred.
    Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques utilized in speech-language pathology.
    Ability to operate under the supervision of licensed SLPs and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
