    Description

    The mobile health clinic program at St. Joseph Hospital serves the Greater Nashua area, western New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. It provides non-emergency walk-in care to insured, underinsured, and uninsured patients, including MD or NP appointments, health screenings, health education, and counseling for preventable illnesses.

    The Driver/PSR will operate the RV, performing daily safety inspections, vehicle condition reports, and cleaning of the interior. They will also register patients, collect payments, and maintain inventory of supplies. Additionally, they will communicate with staff, confirm route schedules, and perform outreach to neighborhood residents and businesses.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry
    • Operates mobile health clinic on designated routes during the week and for special events on weekends
    • Communicates with staff to confirm changes, additions, or deletions from route schedule
    • Maintains safety and cleanliness inside and outside of the RV

    Requirements include excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize duties, strong organizational and time management skills, computer literacy, and good judgment. A high school diploma and a valid NH state commercial driver's license are required. Preference is given to candidates with six years driving experience and current DOT physical. BLS/CPR, AED certification is preferred but not required.

    Working Conditions:

    The Driver/PSR must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform tasks associated with this position, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs may be required. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care may also be present.
