- The Hospitalist service provides 24/7/365 inpatient hospital coverage for all patients admitted to the medical and surgical floors.
- 169-bed non-profit hospital
- 12-hour day shifts with a block schedule of 7 on/7 off
- Average of 16?18 patients per day plus 2 admissions
- Staffed with 2 physicians and 2 APRNs per shift
- Open ICU. No procedures
- Pulmonologists do vents
