    Duties


    This position is located under the Office of Field Operations, Region III, Seattle Field Division in Seattle, Washington.

    The incumbent of this position exercises full supervisory responsibilities and authority over non-supervisory Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) employees who conduct all source intelligence analyses to support the field division's criminal investigations and industry operations, by producing actionable strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence products and other analytical services. This position also serves as the primary division intelligence subject matter expert. The incumbent acts as the division's intelligence liaison to other internal and external partners.

    As a Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist (Crime Gun Intelligence Center Supervisor), GS , your typical work assignments may include:

    • Serves as liaison with other law enforcement agency, directorates, working groups, and task force intelligence leaders and professionals, and the U.S. intelligence community as the primary division intelligence subject matter expert.
    • Provides leadership and guidance to the CGIC and directs, coordinates, or refers intelligence information that may cross- division geographic boundaries and may involve other government agencies and departments, or the industry.
    • Advises Special Agent in Charge (SAC) and Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) on significant issues pertaining to CGIC programs and projects.
    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progresses.
