Job Summary
North Star Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN Hospitalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient or acute care settings and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including initial history and physicals (H&Ps) within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to create integrated treatment plans addressing medical and mental health needs.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance overall health.
