Director - Stock Plan Services, Finance Operations
Hybrid Position: 3 days per week San Francisco Bay Area - Peninsula Location
Job Description
Position reports to the Senior Director, Stock Plan Services
The Operations Manager is the technical lead for the Stock Plan Services team and ensures stock transactions for all global equity types (Options, RSUs, PSUs, ESPP) are accurately and efficiently processed. Maintains data integrity, reviews and supports financial reporting, and ensures stock plan documents and grant rules are appropriately interpreted and applied. Partners and collaborates with teams in Payroll, Legal, IT, HR, Investor Relations, E*TRADE, CPAs, law firms, and other external partners, as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Technical review of stock plan activity, including award releases and option exercises, grants, cancellations, and terminations
Technical review of ESPP activity, including enrollments and purchases
Support preparation and/or review data for stock-based compensation calculations for quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures as well as forecasts. Update the PPT deck and present to External Reporting
Support preparation and/or review data for quarterly EPS reporting
Coordinate and/or assist in compiling information for SOX and audit testing and compliance, including the EEO access review.
Review annual proxy statement disclosures and 10-Q/10-K disclosures
Support preparation and filing of SEC Forms 3, 4 & 5
Ensure compliance of U.S. and non-U.S. tax withholding and securities processes in partnership with Baker McKenzie and Deloitte
Manage creation and distribution of department dashboard for the Treasurer
Support and review reporting of stock plan and ESPP activity to U.S. and international Payrolls
Manage HR reporting requests
Review the calculation of the stock plan reserves
Create and maintain the list of deferred RSU/PSU releases
Manage the quarterly China SAFE filings
Support and review the processing of payments through SAFE-approved bank account
Provide excellent customer service responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date systems and records
Manage system security of internal tools and interfaces
Other tasks, projects and team-member support, as assigned
Requirements:
Experience working for a multinational company with a strong understanding of the accounting, tax and legal requirements of equity plans.
5-10 years of stock plan administration experience with employee stock purchase plans, stock options, and restricted stock in a global environment
CEP level 3
Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline
Public accounting experience a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Independent and self-motivated
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and handle several projects in fast paced environment
Familiarity with Equity Edge Online
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience with Tableau a plus
