- Coach associates and management through employee relations matters, providing guidance on disciplinary action and conducting on-site investigations
- Create, maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations
- Conduct and review salary increases and other status changes to ensure equity and consistency
- Maintain HRIS and run HR reports
- Assist in creation of personal development plans and participate in the annual permanence appraisal process
- 3 years relevant work experience as HR Generalist, within hospitality industry preferred
- Bachelors degree in HR or related field
- Experience at a large, multi-unit organization required
- PHR or SPHR designation a strong asset
- Knowledge of employment laws, policies, procedures, and programs
- Able to identify and respond to common employee inquiries and complaints
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
