    Job Objective
    The Senior Finance Analyst supports management reporting, analysis, and planning activities. These include reporting and analysis of sales, distribution cost, variable manufacturing cost and COGS, and fixed costs. This position reports directly to the V.P. Finance and is a key individual contributor role.
    Key Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
    Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis to facilitate understanding of the monthly operations and communication of results to management.
    Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
    Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide needed insight.
    Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of finished goods and key raw materials inventory.
    Prepare monthly variance analysis of cost of sales.
    Support Corporate projects and other initiatives as needed.
    Support monthly forecast process including sales, manufacturing, fixed costs, balance sheet and cash flow.
    Update forecast model to understand trends in variable manufacturing cost of sales and variable distribution cost.
    Support working capital forecasting and budgeting.

    Prepare cost center budget templates for distribution and SG&A functions and partner with cost center owners to deliver their budgets.

    Support preparation of Corporate budget and long-range planning files by linking to Pigments models and gathering supporting data from the business.


    Qualifications:
    B.S. in Finance or Accounting
    Public Accounting Certification and/or an MBA desirable
    5+ years relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
    Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
    Experience with SAP or an ERP business system as a power user
    Knowledge of the chemicals industry and/or plant processes preferred
    Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills
    Builds strong working relationships throughout the organization
    Communicates effectively across multiple reporting levels and possesses strong presentation skills
    Proficiency in advanced spreadsheet reporting and modelling
    Knowledge of the chemicals industry and/or plant processes
    Solid Mathematical and Financial acumen
    Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
    Strong analytical and presentation abilities
    Thoroughly communicate recommendations that address concerns from multiple perspectives.

    Time management - Must be able to prioritize, develop timelines, set milestones, and acquire resources for complex or long-term projects.

    Self-starter, organized and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
    Self-directed and establishes own priorities to meet needs of the multiple organizations and teams depending upon this role.
