    Job Description

    The Director of Data Gov Program Management Develops and improves media data management processes and reporting software development projects across multiple teams. You will need to have experience running discovery phases, and de-risking any large investments in solution building. Experience with media data a bonus. You will provide technical expertise and excellent execution skills.

    You will have a team of at least two project managers and will report to the VP of Business Intelligence

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and facilitate operational processes to track and communicate progress across multiple of projects on a roadmap of media/marketing database work, facilitate decision-making, resolve blockers, keep timelines updated and call out risks to leadership.
    • Lead communication, documentation, timelines, data collection QA and other performance reporting delivery across multiple different types of partners including 3rd party vendors, internal, consultants and clients.
    • Maintain JIRA, Confluence, MIRO board and other data management/Agile project management tools to develop end-to-end technical program execution and ensure on-time delivery in daily stand-ups.
    • Collaborate with partners to gather requirements, and work with engineering teams to define, evaluate, and prioritize program dependencies, scope, and implementation plan.
    • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define Measurements, portfolios/roadmaps, and long-term strategies for the teams that you are working with.
    • Manage vendor communication, focusing on DUA and other data usage agreements, collecting data and providing reports to the partners.
    • Lead process improvements, implement best practices, and define success metrics to track the impact of our work.
    • Help lead product and engineering decisions to align with the team initiatives.
    • Promote organized teams that lead continuous improvement to our systems and service reliability while aligning with Agile best practices.

      • JIRA/MIRO Board/Confluence
      • SQL Server/SSIS
      • BI Platforms – Tableau, Datorama, etc
      • Cloud Technologies – Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google
    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 8+ years of technical program management, or software engineering experience
    • Experience in Agile methodologies, including managing execution, backlogs, end-to-end program plans and with Agile Software, lean methodology, and JIRA
    • Experience working with product engineering teams and security to build and deliver end-to-end customer-focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms.
    • Experience in defining, implementing, and mentoring others in Program/Project Management methodologies and tactics.
    • Ability to track and resolve database related incidents as well as requests.
    • Knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
    • Technical documentation skills
    • Ability to present complex ideas in user-friendly language
    • Self-directed, with keen attention to detail
    • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment.

    Compensation Range: $106,500 - $167,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
