Job summary
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for the cost-effective procurement of HVAC equipment and supplies as well as maintaining our ERP system to support Design Air's growing operation.The position can be based at one of our Rheem Midwest Distribution main locations,
including West Allis, WI, Kimberly, WI, or Madison WI.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute standardized purchasing procedures and processes across all company locations
- Maintain outstanding levels of customer service for both internal and external customers/li Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains for the benefit of the business and our customers/li Meet and negotiate with suppliers to deliver the best value to our customers/li Source products/servicesto support sales team/customer inquiries/have a technical competence in hvac equiptment/supplies/services stay up date with relevant industry trends/customer needs/proficient in using prophet21 erp systen/blue ridge supply chain platform/
- Create custom reports/using white cup/
- Foster a positive flexible/team oriented attitude that suppports culture/travel other branches/vendor facilities needed/perfrom other duties/business assigned/on interim basis
