    Job Description

    Responsibilities


    Review new product plans and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives, such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.

    " Develop materials and study the atomic structure of materials in order to Client new applications for their mechanical, electrical or chemical properties.

    Conduct or supervise tests on raw materials or finished products to ensure quality.

    Analyze product failure data and lab test results in order to determine causes of problems and develop solutions.

    Determine appropriate methods for fabricating and joining materials.

    Monitor material performance and evaluate material deterioration.

    Plan and implement operations for developing material and fabrication procedures that meet cost, product specification, and performance standards.


    Skills:
    Basic knowledge of metals, plastics, elastomers, polymer composites, and ceramic materials.

    Knowledge of material degradation mechanisms such as creep, corrosion, and others.

    Experience conducting failure analysis.

    Must-Have Skills

    Basic knowledge of metals, plastics, elastomers, polymer composites, and ceramic materials, metal engineering

    Experience conducting failure analysis, master s degree, Electrical or mechanical engineering


    Qualification:
    Bachelor's degree in materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field. '-Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
