    Salary Range:
    $19.81 To 26.25 Hourly
    Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

    Summary

    This position will work with Wires, ACH, Treasury Management Support and Bankcard Operations to process fraud claims and to assess potential fraud threats.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
    • Review fraudulent activity and verify account activity with customers over the phone.
    • Review fraudulent activity for the prevention and detection of potential fraud in the areas of; Wires, ACH, Check and Bankcard Operations
    • Provide accurate, timely, and necessary information and reports regarding suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
    • When suspicious activity is identified, will conduct timely investigations on suspected and/or known fraudulent transactions and process claims.
    • Effectively manages all incoming communication regarding fraudulent or potentially fraudulent activity received via multiple channels from both internal and external customers; resolves all fraud issues within established service-level agreements.
    • Responds to internal telephone inquiries, customer's and law enforcement requests.
    • Maintains or exceeds established service level agreements and guidelines for timely fraud investigation to minimize potential losses.
    • Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience
    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Language Skills
    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

    Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    Mathematical Skills
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    Reasoning Ability
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Access Database software; Internet Explorer Internet software; Monarch, Crystal Reports, Guardian Analytics Fraud Analysis, Microsoft Project Management software and Microsoft Office Suite of Products Spreadsheet software.
