Job summary
This role involves building deploying and scaling Amazon networks that support AWS customers across multiple global data centers.Responsibilities
- Optical Network Development Engineers perform high quality network and/or systems operations deployments scaling technology refresh sustaining engineering best practices application optimization internal/external customer interactions and produce appropriate technical documentation.
- Review/contribute to product designs and technology roadmaps.
- Troubleshoot complex problems develop innovative solutions Focus on ambiguous problem areas in existing or new network architecture systems development initiatives propose deliver projects with significant business/customer impact.
- Collaborate with vendors/manufacturers evaluate new hardware software features Create implementations plans incorporating them into the network Automate optical test plans qualify optical modules Collaborate vendors/manufactures defining developing test plans Optical Modules Work network operations team identifying operation issues improving quality RMA process.
