    Job SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the district, service center, yard, or work site.


    Starting Pay:
    $19.00/Hour. Pay can be adjusted with experience.


    1st Shift Hours:
    8am-5pm Monday through Friday

    What you will do:
    At SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer serviceUnload, stock and inventory all deliveriesAssist with new orders and cycle countsRead and understand standard work and risk assessmentsAbility to understand Inventory Control ProcessExhibits equipment and product understandingCounts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movementMaintains work area, machines, and equipmentOperates and inspects industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and productsAssist service operations with pulling and picking partsPerforms other job duties as assignedWhat you will have: Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to proficiently operate a computer independentlyPrior experience operating a forkliftAbility to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product

    Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hearRequired to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusMust be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department

    Summary Pay Range:
    $ $23.30Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
