Rutgers University Correctional Health Care is seeking Per Diem Technician I for Garden State Youth Correctional Facility located in Yardville NJ The Technician I participates as a member of the clinical and administrative medical team at the Prison Among the duties for the position are Takes vital signs height weight and documents in electronic medical records EMR Assists the physician associate practitioner with procedures including preparing the inmate for examination Obtains specimen collection handling including drawing blood Assists with cleaning sterilization securing of equipment within Health Service Unit Maintains or assists maintaining supply stock in Health Service Unit by ordering timely appropriate manner Maintains supply stock in examination rooms Aggregates orders all medications forwards to pharmacy provider local pharmacy
