    Base salary starting at:
    $31.94 / hr


    Essential Functions


    • Provides education and information on Mental Illnesses and psychiatric medications to patients individually and within a group setting.
    • Coordinates healthcare team. Delegates appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel in accordance with the degree of supervision needed, availability of supervision, complexity of the patient care required and types of technology employed.
    • Keeps up to date on new psychiatric medications and protocols with regard to care of the patient with mental illness.
    • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, treatment and services appropriate for the age of patient served on the unit.
    • Transcribes, utilizes and implements protocols and physician orders.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education


    • Must be a graduate form an accredited school of nursing.

    Experience


    • Previous experience in a hospital preferred.

    Credentials


    • Must have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and bust be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
    • Must have current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with IMH.
    • Must certify in a de-escalation program as outline by Ivinson Memorial Hospital within the first four months of hire and re-certify every year thereafter.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


    • Annual completion of yearly required CEUs.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, rules and regulations which govern our facility and ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
