    Job Summary


    A Radiology Technologist operates medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, or mammograms.

    They ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and accurate imaging while following medical protocols and radiation safety standards.
    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering questions
    Position patients correctly to obtain accurate diagnostic images
    Operate imaging equipment (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, or mammography machines)
    Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff
    Review images for quality and clarity before submitting to radiologists
    Maintain patient records and imaging documentation
    Assist radiologists during procedures when required
    Maintain and clean imaging equipment
    Monitor patients for comfort and safety during procedures
    Education & Qualifications

    Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging
    Certification or registration with relevant licensing body (varies by country/state)
    Knowledge of radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
    Clinical training or internship experience preferred
    Required Skills

    Strong attention to detail
    Technical proficiency with imaging equipment
    Good communication and patient care skills
    Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare settings
    Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
