    Director of Human Resources


    ResponsibilitiesThe HR Director will oversee every facet of the Human Resource Department, encompassing recruitment, employee relations, employee development, compliance, and benefits administration.

    This role will report directly to the VP of Finance & Human Resources.

    Recruitment and Staffing:
    Spearhead recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates.
    Oversee the onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.

    Employee Relations:
    Handle employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances with fairness and empathy.
    Foster a culture of transparent communication and collaboration.
    Assess and provide feedback and coaching on employee performance.
    Coordinate company events and gatherings.

    Employee DevelopmentSupervise employee training and development initiatives, collaborating with company leaders to fulfill their requirements.

    Compliance:
    Guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
    Maintain and develop the employee handbook and policies.
    Provide guidance to executive and management-level staff on personnel matters.

    Benefits Administration:
    Manage benefits programs, encompassing health, dental, vision, and more.
    Support the Safety Manager in overseeing the Workers' Compensation program.
    Aid the Accounting department in payroll and 401(k) program administration.
    Spearhead the development and implementation of employee recognition initiatives.

    QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
    Minimum of five years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
    Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and innovate new programs.

    Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft, ADP, and Epicor ERP.Someone who may have 6-10 years experience, overseeing up to 10 people, in manufacturing, would be ideal.
