Position Overview: The UAS Specialist I is responsible for executing UAS data capture flights, processing sensed data accurately, and managing the data obtained by the Ameren UAS Program. Apart from flying missions, this role involves processing data to meet organizational requirements and staying abreast of evolving needs and delivering high-quality data for all business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in UAS or Robotics with relevant experience is required. Part 107 Certification is mandatory. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years relevant experience is accepted.
Desired Skills: Proficiency in computer concepts, troubleshooting technical components, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make decisions with ambiguous information. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with expertise in UAV technology and field operations.
Additional Requirements: The role involves lifting up to 55 Lbs, working in varied weather conditions, and being on call 24/7. Overnight stays might be required. The selection process includes multiple interviews. Last application date: Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
