    Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician to support our client's medical facility based in

    Southfield, MI .
    This is a 3+ month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

    Location:
    Southfield, MI
    Schedule: 5 x8s rotation 2:30pm - 11pm shift /5x8s rotation 10:30pm - 7am shift

    Pay Range:
    $46 - $48 per hour

    We are seeking a certified
    Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Detroit, MI.

    This role involves performing laboratory procedures on blood and other body fluid specimens under the supervision of a laboratory technologist or supervisor.

    #### Key Responsibilities:


    • Perform laboratory testing using manual techniques and automated laboratory instruments
    • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including Beckman Coulter systems (AU system experience preferred)
    • Process blood and body fluid specimens according to established protocols
    • Ensure accurate documentation using laboratory information systems
    • Maintain quality control and adhere to laboratory safety standards
    • Perform phlebotomy as needed
    #### Required Qualifications:


    • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
    • Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
    • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant laboratory experience
    • Experience with Beckman Coulter equipment (AU system preferred)
    • Strong technical knowledge and ability to perform laboratory functions independently
    • Effective communication skills
