Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedCivil Project Engineer
to join our client's growing engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in railroad and bridge construction projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in all engineering and technical aspects of our client's projects to ensure precision and compliance with national standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, design, and execution of railroad and bridge construction projectsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are metConduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to field personnelPrepare and review engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract documentsEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standardsManage project resources, including materials, equipment, and laborCommunicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholdersTroubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues as they arise
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferredMinimum of 1-2 years experience in civil engineering with experience in railroad and bridge construction a plusStrong knowledge of industry practices, standards, and regulationsProficient in CAD software and project management toolsExcellent project management, communication, and leadership skills
Work Model:
On-SiteAbility to travel 3-5 days a month to properties throughout Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska
