• Hospitalists handle admission
• Can do general elective surgical cases if candidates wishes to do so
• Providers are not required to remain onsite while providing night or weekend call support but are required to round and discharge
• Providers required to provide supporting notes on their timesheet entries to verify callback hours
• Providers must document on the timesheet the specific reason for the callback and should have a description such that the note can be validated
