    JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:


    Under direct supervision and/or according to detailed instructions, policies and procedures, greets and receives visitors and Gilchrist employees and refers same to appropriate staff members or department.

    Operates a multi-line telephone console and takes and relays messages. Receives mail, UPS, Fedex and other deliveries. Sorts and distributes mail and notifies staff of deliveries.

    Skills


    • Ability to type tables and forms
    • Skill in data analysis and interpretation
    • Experience with an electronic medical record (Cerner or EPIC preferred)

    Microsoft Office:
    Word & Excel


    • Electronic E-mail system (Groupwise or Outlook)
    Licensures, Certifications

    Physical Requirements


    • A high level of mental and visual effort and strain
    • Generally sedentary work, but requires standing and walking for approximately six percent of work time
    Working Conditions


    • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
