- Perform routine equipment repairs and maintenance with up to 50% independence including hydraulic, electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatics.
- Perform facility repair and maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc...
- Ability to work with basic tech support and service providing vendors.
- Perform any miscellaneous jobs required for any department
- Make sure materials are readily available for the job
- Update all completed work in the correct system and schedule
- Assist in other plant operations
- Complete clean-up responsibilities and maintain work station according to 5S procedure
- Perform work at or above pre-established performance objectives
- Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations

- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years experience with facility maintenance or equipment repair in a manufacturing environment.
- No previous work experience is necessary for this position
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for 8 hours/day while making coordinated movements of the hands and fingers to grasp/pinch, and manipulate objects. This may include frequent use of vibrating/pneumatic tools, overhead and outstretched reaching with arms, bending/twisting/stooping, kneeling/squatting and frequently lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs throughout the day and occasionally up to 70 lbs as needed. Also may occasionally include pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
- May occasionally be exposed to dust and spray fumes.
- Regular shop assembly/distribution center environment (no air conditioning)
- Steel-toed shoes are required for working in this position.
