Description
Our client is a leading managed service provider seeking an experienced Account Manager to assist with the growth and development of the clientele base.
Hybrid work model, offering work life balance - HQ in Rocky Hill CT area
70 - 85K base with OTE K, comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities:
Develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting, leveraging your network, and gaining strategic partnerships.
Identify prospect requirements including technical, prospect infrastructure, configuration, and other requirements and call prospects to continually find new customers and projects.
Collaborate with technical staff to generate proposals. Confidently present proposals to clients to engage interest in managed services. Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop informational seminars, marketing material, targeted campaigns, and qualified leads. Effectively qualify opportunities to determine scope of work. Manage pipeline and move opportunities along through to close independently. Leverage networking events, chambers, and BNI groups to promote the brand and build long lasting relationships.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in an account manager or sales position, specifically in the IT field. Strong communication skills as this position requires a lot of phone calls and client facing meetings. Proven track record of sales performance including new business development. Ability to travel throughout the area for client facing meetings.
