    Job Requirements

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New York State or RN compact license accepted

    Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Care, or Cardiac Cath Lab

    BLS certification required

    Experience with Epic EMR preferred

    Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills

    Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork abilities

    Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients in the Cardiac Stepdown/Telemetry unit

    Continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment; recognize and respond to changes in condition

    Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and assist with cardiac procedures and post-procedure care

    Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

    Accurately document patient care and assessments using Epic EMR

    Educate patients and families on cardiac diagnosis, treatments, and recovery plans
