Guernsey is seeking an experienced consultant to support their cybersecurity practice. Candidates with a strong background in IT operations, governance, risk management, and control practices are encouraged to apply. This role involves planning, leading, and conducting audits and risk assessments focused on cybersecurity. Responsibilities include building effective relationships with clients, advising on internal controls and cybersecurity, and promoting best practices.

Responsibilities include:

Engaging in business development activities like public speaking
Reviewing and evaluating internal controls in IT and security
Providing recommendations to enhance controls
Overseeing compliance with cybersecurity requirements such as CMMC
Managing multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications for the Position:

Education:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, IT security, Computer Science, or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years in IT audit or related IT operations
Preferably certified as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or equivalent
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risks and control frameworks
Experience with both large and small IT organizations
Understanding of business processes and internal controls
Experience in public speaking and business development
Strong analytical skills and project management ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively

Physical Requirements:

This role involves standing or sitting for extended periods, walking within the office premises, using office machinery, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. It requires the ability to focus on computer screens and lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment when needed.
