    ADF Engineering is seeking a Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of experience (5 years preferred) in industrial design.

    The position offers an opportunity to work in the fastest growing industries dealing with cutting edge development in Food Processing, Bioscience, and Renewable Fuels.

    Minimum Requirements:

    BS in Civil/ Structural Engineering.
    3 years of experience in industrial design.
    E.I.T. certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

    5 + years experience in industrial design
    P.E. license
    Ideal candidate will have Project Management experience in scheduling, proposal writing, capital cost estimating, and client interaction.
    Prior experience in consulting engineering, food or agricultural related industrial processes and facilities.

    Requirements Duties and Responsibilities
    Identify project needs, define and deliver Structural engineering solutions.

    • Provide competent Structural Engineering solutions
    :

    Design, Analysis, Structural Assessment of existing buildings, Capacity Ratings.

    • Utilize Structural Engineering tools and software
    • Interact with clients and contractors
    • Collaborate with other engineers and designers
    • Demonstrate project performance KPI
    :

    a. Project budget,
    b. Project schedule,
    c. Project Quality (errors or omissions)
    d
    Site safety:

    no injuries, no safety violations e. Value engineering and continuous improvement

    Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of Structural Engineering for Medium and Heavy Industrial Buildings
    :


    • Reinforced Concrete Foundations for building and equipment
    • Structural Steel Floors, Frames( Braced or Moment Frames)
    • Masonry
    • Be familiar with IBC, ASCE 7 Loads
    :

    Seismic and Wind


    • Utility Racks, Pipe Supports
    • Knowledge of Fall Protection design and OSHA
    • Knowledge of Staad , Ram or other FEA engineering tools
    • Leadership and pro-active attitude
    • Consulting experience
    • Ownership and accountability
    • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects and tasks
    • Efficient PM skills 8. Mature client development skills
