    We're Hiring: Legal Administrative Assistant

    Legacy Counsel PLC | Saint Joseph, Michigan

    Legacy Counsel PLC is a fast-paced, growing, technology-forward trust and estates law firm — and we're hiring.

    We are looking for a sharp, systems-driven, high-productivity professional to join our team as a Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA).

    This is not a "sit and answer phones" role.

    This is for someone who:

    • Thinks quickly and solves problems independently
    • Loves checklists and completing them with precision
    • Is detail-oriented without losing momentum
    • Enjoys technology and learning new systems
    • Brings warmth and emotional intelligence to client interactions
    • Takes ownership and finishes what they start

    Prior law firm experience is not required. The right mindset matters far more than the right résumé.

    What You'll Do
    • Manage client communications and scheduling
    • Maintain digital and physical client files
    • Prepare meeting materials and coordinate logistics
    • Process mail and documentation with precision
    • Support attorneys and paralegals in a high-accountability environment
    • Help maintain and improve firm systems
