- Testing and troubleshooting issues to identify root cause
- Designing and building new systems using existing software or creating new software
- Performing regular maintenance on systems, such as updating software and backing up data
- Conducting initial setup of equipment and machinery, including wiring diagrams and control system diagrams
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing control systems on production lines for process flow, networks and heating and cooling
- Installing and maintaining electrical components such as motors, switches, relays, and transformers
- Brazing & soldering
- Motors, pumps, sheaves, and belts
- Packaging and manufacturing machine repair and maintenance
- Proper preventative maintenance techniques
- PLC diagnostics and calibration
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Honeywell, and Omron
