    Description


    The paramedic in the ED is responsible for the delivery of certain elements of patient care that promote the safety and well-being of all patients.

    Responsible for assisting in patient care in accordance with Indiana scope of practice.

    Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

    Utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.

    Contributes to the provision of quality patient care through the performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.


    Qualifications:

    Education:

    Certifications/Experience:
    One year experience in a relevant clinical role preferred.
    Current Indiana Paramedic License or National CertificationCPR certifiedACLS certifiedPALS certified Preferred applicant will possess previous emergency department experience.
