Overview:
Provides administrative support to the engineering team in data entry and the part number set-up process.
Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborates with internal teams to create new items from customer quotes.
- Works with engineering and quality team on any deviation requests.
- Maintains documents in Docuware and ERP system.
- Updates New Product Tracking spreadsheet.
- Creates and maintains folders for drawings and customer part numbers.
- Prepares documents for APQP and PPAP.
- Creates Development Job Orders, tracks, adjusts dates and close.
- Trained to be back up for Laser Programmer.
- Reviews quote package and works with Engineering for integration to production.
- Collaborates with production supervisors to identify training needs and map out training plans for production employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Job Skills Requirements
- Detail-orientated with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer programs.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Comprehensive experience with Microsoft office products and other software associated with assigned work.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Technical Associates Degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
