About the Role
Haystack is looking for a Product Manager to drive new product initiatives, with an initial focus on launching cutting-edge weather products.
You will collaborate closely with the founders to propose and implement key projects, driving significant impact across various functional areas and empowering millions of users to access the news they care about.
Responsibilities:
Prioritize new products and features that will lead to increased engagement and drive retention.

Lead projects from ideation through launch and iteration.
Stay informed about the competitive landscape of consumer digital news, weather and related markets; track the latest market trends and innovations.
Write clear, detailed product specifications and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
Research new feature proposals and best practices within the industry.
Background and Qualifications
4+ years of experience as Product Manager on consumer facing weather products
Have successfully launched weather products on mobile and/or web by
working with design, marketing and engineering teams
Have strong consumer product instincts (predict and justify why certain product features\
will work or not work)
Experience analyzing data to drive product decisions
Able to justify and clearly articulate plans, roadmaps, ideas, and designs verbally and
through presentations
Experience driving user research and usability tests
Active and successful use of A/B testing
Salary Range:
$130k+
