What You'll Do:
As a Design Engineer, you are responsible for developing products and executing your Cell's go-to-market strategy. Working collaboratively with your team, you have the opportunity to help run a business within a business. This role is key in assuring your cell's products are designed; function and add value that outperform the competition.
Responsibilities:
Research customers' needs through communications with end-users, resellers, and partners.
Help develop go-to-market and competitive strategies.
Plan, develop, and communicate a strategy for product launch and initial forecast.
Using 3D CAD software, design and detail work to achieve design criteria.
Prepare drawings and renderings for end-user instruction manuals and marketing collateral.
Create and maintain engineering files and bills of material.
Participate in team problem solving, process improvement, and decision-making.
Work with outside vendors and partners to interpret design specifications.
Provide technical support to sales managers, marketing, and customer service representatives.
Oversee assembly and testing of engineering prototypes.
Travel to customer and partner sites to conduct design reviews.
