- Install FTTX broadband services for residential and commercial customers
- Swiftly resolve service issues after trouble ticket dispatch
- Handle interior and exterior cabling of fiber optic and ethernet cables
- Conduct quality control evaluations of fellow technicians' work
- Perform underground fiber cable locating
- Distribute equipment and materials to technicians and clients
- Maintain optimal inventory levels at project sites
- Document inventory assignments accurately in the system
- Request and obtain approvals for equipment requisitions
- Collaborate with field staff to ensure adequate inventory levels
- Ensure precision in inventory reconciliation
- Efficiently update customer-linked equipment
- Thoroughly document processes and procedures for clarity
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by leadership
- High school diploma required (college degree preferred)
- 5+ years of FTTX installation experience
- Proficiency in GLDS and NISC
- Skilled in P.C. and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with optical test equipment and fusion splicers
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated to work independently
- Strong leadership abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds

In this crucial position, you'll be part of the Conexon Connect operations team in Arizona, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing FTTX broadband and voice services for customers. You'll also lead quality control assessments for fellow technicians in your area to ensure top-notch project delivery. Managing inventory distribution among technicians and overseeing installations of ONTs and network interface devices (NID) are core aspects of your role, along with performing underground fiber cable locating.
