Overview

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Surgical Services Clinical Professional Educator/ Registered Nurse in Topeka, Kansas.

The expectation is that this person will cover OR, PACU, PRE OP, Cath Lab, Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Educator orients new staff to the position and department .
Plans and conducts various educations activities for the staff.
Effectively communicates both in writing and verbally.
Reports to the Director of designee.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

4-Year Degree
Current Kansas RN Licensure
Three years experience as a clinical staff nurse with a least one year experience in area required.

Preferred Job Requirements:

Masters in Education or Nursing
Prior teaching experience preferred
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
