Job Position: HVAC Service Manager
Our client is a leading provider of HVAC and Commercial HVAC services. They value their employees and offer comprehensive medical, vision, Rx, dental and ortho coverage, with the company paying 87.5% of total premiums. They are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager who thrives on leading teams, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who takes initiative and ensures smooth operations and on-time project delivery. This role is strictly commercial.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, dispatch, and troubleshooting of heating, cooling, and ventilation mechanical systems in commercial and institutional buildings.
- Lead budget management, sales initiatives, and financial forecasting to ensure service operations align with company goals.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate work to ensure smooth operations and on-time project delivery.
- Maintain proactive and positive relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in HVAC Service, involving knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation mechanical systems serving commercial and institutional buildings.
- Experience managing a successful service team, developing team members, driving new business, and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational abilities to handle high-volume responsibilities.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude with analytical skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Bonus points for experience with service management software, dispatch systems, or data-driven process improvement.
