    Product Manager Job Opportunity

    We are seeking a Product Manager to support the implementation and launch of the Storyliving by Resident and Commercial work streams for the Storyliving by Disney Cotino community in Celebration, FL.

    This is a long-term contract opportunity with a hybrid team, requiring flexibility with in-office days. During onboarding, you may be asked to be in the office two days a week.

    About the Role

    This role will involve supporting the implementation of multiple vendor software solutions, working across various business, technology, and vendor teams to define features and functionality. You will document features by translating business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other appropriate product deliverables.

    Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Miro, and Smartsheet is a plus. You will collaborate effectively with all impacted functional teams, including technology, legal, finance, creative, and other product organizations.

    You will serve as a representative for product management in day-to-day activities related to the Resident and Commercial work streams. This will involve effectively communicating with partners of various levels across Disney Experiences and the broader Disney organization through various mediums.

    You will also support defect triage activities by working with technical, creative, and production teams to identify root cause through resolution, providing support, and escalation for blockers/impediments.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of product management or related work experience
    • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to navigate uncharted territory as we build this new business
    • Enthusiastic action-oriented team-player with a positive attitude, ready to work hard, have fun, and learn something new
    • Experience working closely with technology, project management, business, legal, design, and user experience teams in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to influence people over whom you do not have direct authority
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to lead stakeholder requirements sessions
    • Highly professional, organized, inquisitive, and extremely detail-oriented
    • Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action with a willingness to take personal initiative
    • Experience handling multiple high-priority, high-visibility work streams simultaneously and ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities
    • Ability to be flexible and willing to tweak and fine-tune documentation and processes as business needs evolve, with a focus on continuous improvement
    • Willingness to jump in and help with any task, no matter how small
    • Experience identifying, defining, and/or addressing technical, user, and business issues in a fast-moving organization
    • Experience with Agile software development methodology and all phases of SDLC

    Required Education
