    Food Service Director Salary:
    Annual Salary 50K - 53K based on experience

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

    Food Service Director

    to join our team in providing exceptional dining experience for our residents in our long-term care facility in

    Rome, NY .

    The Food Service Director will oversee all aspects of the dietary department, ensuring high-quality food service, adherence to dietary regulations, and overall resident satisfaction.

    Essential Duties:
    Assure compliance with Local, State and Federal requirements and laws regarding nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.

    Ensure food service operates within established budgetary guideline,


    Monitor food control systems such as food temperatures, portion control, preparation methods, garnishment, and presentation of food to ensure that food is to physician's diet orders before delivery.

    Knowledge of local, State, Federal regulations, and survey inspection process.

    Train, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, as well as regulatory compliance.

    Oversee the overall sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen, storage and dining areas, and equipment.

    Performs other job-related duties.

    Food Service Director


    Qualifications:
    ·

    Certified Food Manager or have an equivalent certification degree along with

    Servsafe

    certification. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification a plus.

    ·

    Minimum 3-5 years managing food service department in long term care facility or healthcare setting.

    Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.

    Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work effectively in a challenging environment.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management software.

    Performs other job-related duties.
