    Position:
    Commercial Estimator

    $50,000-$75,000 Annually

    Commercial Estimator Role Overview:


    As a Commercial Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our pre-construction phase, accurately estimating the materials required for commercial building projects.

    You'll work closely with our sales and project management teams to analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to develop detailed material take-offs.

    This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your analytical skills, attention to detail, and industry expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


    Commercial Estimator Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze architectural and structural drawings to determine material quantities and specifications for commercial construction projects.
    • Utilize take-off software and other tools to generate accurate material lists and cost estimates.
    • Collaborate with sales and project management teams to review project requirements and provide timely and accurate take-offs.
    • Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability information for materials.
    • Assist in the development of proposals and bids by providing detailed take-off reports and cost estimates.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to commercial construction materials and practices.

    Commercial Estimator Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
    • Previous experience in a similar role performing take-offs for commercial construction projects.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately calculate material quantities and costs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with take-off software and other estimating tools preferred.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency in performing take-offs.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
