HR Generalist - Round Lake - Garnet River

Description

This is a newly created role for our client located in Saratoga County, NY. The HR Generalist will support HR, payroll, and some basic accounting functions. This person will manage day-to-day HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll, personnel files) and assist with accounting tasks such as invoice entry, expense tracking, and accounts payable/receivable. The role is ideal for someone with HR/payroll experience who is organized, approachable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
*This position is fully on-site.
Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding/offboarding and maintaining personnel files.
• dministering benefits (including open enrollment).
• Processing payroll accurately and on time.
• Ensuring HR compliance with federal and state regulations.
• ssisting accounting with invoice entry, expenses, AP/AR, and reconciliations.
• Recruiting - surfacing resumes from job sites, posting jobs, setting up interviews.

Qualifications

• Prior HR, payroll, or accounting experience or related education.
• Strong organizational skills; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; patient and approachable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR/payroll software experience a plus.

Compensation

• $60,000-70,000 based on experience
