    Operations Director

    Meierotto Jewelers is Kansas City's leading jewelry store. We carry the largest selection of diamonds and jewelry, watches and more We are located just minutes north of downtown Kansas City.

    We are actively searching for an Operations Director to join our team. A successful candidate must be a hands-on, proactive team player with acute attention to detail. This full-time position is responsible for taking a proactive approach to ensure that the business operations with no unexpected downtime. The ideal candidate for this position is honest, works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, detail oriented and has a passion for helping people.

    Responsibilities


    • Support the operation of the business including physical facilities, records management, equipment, technology and payment platforms


    • Maintain adequate supplies inventory and reorder as needed


    • Retain and organize files and business records


    • Audit business processes and manage compliance obligations


    • Maintain and respond to third party and government notices and requests including census, tax, employment and payroll


    • Hire and communicate with existing repair and maintenance vendors who perform maintenance and equipment upgrades


    • Provide customer service support as needed


    • Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned

    Qualifications


    • Previous managerial experience preferred


    • Honest with extreme attention to detail


    • Excellent problem-solving skills


    • Efficient and organized with strong written and verbal communication skills


    • Adept at using technology including Word processing, spreadsheets


    • Must be able to work Saturdays

    Work hours & Benefits

    This is a full-time position and will be located on site. This is not a remote position. Typical 5 day work week is Tuesday-Saturday. We offer Simple IRA retirement plan, medical/vision/dental, life insurance, employee discounts, paid holidays and paid vacation.
