    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Alston & Bird is currently hiring for the position of Business Applications Analyst. Reporting to the Business Applications Manager, this individual will manage and support processes, including full project/development lifecycles from strategy/concept/implementation to deployment. Day-to-day, this individual will perform a variety application development, support, reporting, and database duties related to Risk Management systems supported by the Business Information Group. Applications of note: Intapp Risk applications, Aderant Docketing products, and Records Information Management (RIM) systems.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    • Manage and prioritize change requests for Risk Management products.
    • Coordinate the reviews of new requirements with the appropriate partners or executive staff members to make sure new requirements are in the best interest of the firm.
    • Perform requirements gathering, development planning and product testing to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards.
    • Track all historical and future enhancement requests and associated business use cases.
    • Perform moderate to complex bug verifications, release testing and beta support.
    • Gain expert level understanding of existing Intapp Intake forms, workflows, notifications, integrations, and application capabilities.
    • Develop and collaborate on training, awareness, and application ease of use tips.
    • Provide technical assistance to users of the Risk Operation systems (i.e., Intapp Intake, Intapp Conflicts, Intapp Terms, iRM, Docketing products, etc.) in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
    • Install software on PC's, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (where applicable).Oversight for all risk application software deployment on various platforms i.e., desktop/laptop, mobile devices, virtual environment.
    • Provide one-on-one support to users across all firm offices and remote locations.
    • Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of Windows-based, cloud-based, and web-based risk management applications in our network environment.
    • Provide after-hours technical support and coverage when needed.
    • Fulfill requests for application data and reporting.
    • Perform project management duties for assigned projects.
    • Keep the Business Applications Manager informed on the status of work/projects, problem areas and customer satisfaction.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with A&B users regarding problems and questions.
    SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
    • Ability to understand and translate technical material for non-technical users.
    • Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing projects.
    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and applications accessed by A&B users.
    • Knowledge of relational databases and database server management.
    • General knowledge of PC LANs and networks including Windows.
    • Ability to quickly learn new applications and manage upgrades to existing applications.
    • Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment as would be acquired during four years of high school.
    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
    • Associate or bachelor's degree is not required but preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Windows and network environment.
    • Previous experience in the legal field is desired.
