Job summary
The Care Assistance Medical Assistant is responsible for handling incoming refill and symptom calls from Community Care patients using best practice techniques and delivering excellent customer service.This role requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to navigate clinical workflows while supporting both administrative and patient care functions.Responsibilities
- Appropriately documenting and routing call information to the correct clinical staff using established call escalation grids.
- Assisting with entering lab orders per protocol processing authorizations and relaying normal test results once released by the provider.
- Scheduling appointments consulting with the patient's PCP or specialist as needed following established scheduling guidelines.
