Our Manufacturing Engineers create, document, develop, and implement processes and methods used to manufacture Wenger Corporation products that meet end user needs at the lowest cost, and to seek, develop, implement, and document improvements in safety, quality and cost.

At a minimum you'll need:
Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering disciplineProficiency with CAD, SolidWorks or 3D modelingThe ability to read engineering drawings and interpret dimensioning and tolerancing including working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancingProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteIt'd be great if you also have:2-4 years related Engineering experienceEngineering data management system experienceManufacturing fabrication or assembly experienceMeasuring tools experience including tape measures, vernier and digital calipers and vernier and digital micrometersAs a Manufacturing Engineer, a typical day might include: Identifying, developing and implementing value engineering projects to achieve cost reduction, waste elimination, and continuous improvement goalsCreating proposals and financial support documentation for improvement opportunitiesAnalyzing costs and making recommendations on when to outsource processes or add internal capabilitiesTimely completion of defined projects in accordance with established functional, schedule, quality and cost definitionsTroubleshooting problems and expediting solutions utilizing statistical data analysisParticipating in New Product Development and product redesign projectsPrototyping and providing tooling, equipment, and implementation cost estimatesAssisting with implementation of continuous improvement, kaizen events, and A3 projectsLeading and supporting Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) teamsPreparing process and systems documentation such as work instructions, standard work and value stream mappingTraining team members on new equipment and processesBenefit offerings include:Paid Time Off9 Paid HolidaysGenerous Profit SharingMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceSpending Accounts HSA, FSA, DCFSACompany Paid Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance401k Retirement Plan with Company MatchCompany Paid Life InsuranceSupplemental Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramPut your passion to work in an exciting, rewarding industry that inspires innovation todayWenger Corporation is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action EmployerAll Qualified Candidates are Encouraged to Apply
